Meaning and Significance

Equitable Action for Change Logo meaning:

Our Logo symbolizes a New Day, with bright rays of the Pan African Flag* (the unifying flag for Black identifying people) shining down on us all.                                                                                       The Sun symbolizes the "inextinguishable brightness of the rays of our lives. Despite the multitude of historical and present day struggles as Black identifying people we still show-up, stand tall, support strong, love hard and believe. Our logo represents a new day for our healing, empowerment and ultimately reconciliation for our collective communal healing." (Edna, 2020)
